Adnan Imam
Successful entrepreneur and financial strategist Adnan Imam is based in the UK and has business interests there and in Bangladesh. He is the managing director of the IPE Group, which has interests in sectors such as real estate, banking and finance, telecommunications, recruitment, textiles, asset management and information technology.
IPE Developments
The company IPE Developments is under the umbrella of the IPE Group, focusing on development and investment and real estate planning. It works with various parties to identify prime locations and subsequently build properties, with the overarching goal of developing sustainable, high-quality residential developments in London. Mr Imam heads the team at IPE Developments, seeing each project through from conception to successful completion.
The company’s completed developments include the St Saviour’s Collection, a new build and church conversion comprised of luxury one and two-bedroom apartments set within the church grounds, and The Chase, a collection of residential properties within the historic grounds of The Chase in Birmingham. Radlett Mews, in the up-and-coming area of Forest Gate, Beech Mews in Solihull and Botanical Lofts in Stepney are further developments successfully completed by IPE Developments. The latter is a new-build collection of one and two-bedroom apartments and studios and three penthouses, each of which have been designed to their buyers’ high specifications and with the aesthetic of trendy East London firmly in mind.
Career History
Mr Imam formerly had a successful career within the finance industry, working with the highly regarded firm Merrill Lynch Europe Plc. His experience in this sector continues to inform his understanding of the world of international investment and finance today.
Mr Imam is the chairman of Genex Infosys Limited, which delivers smart and advanced enterprise solutions. The company, which is based in Bangladesh, has a team of 4,000, manages more than 170 million customer interactions a year, has five delivery centres across Southeast Asia and has over 130 global tech partnerships.
Genex Infosys was the recipient of the prestigious ICT Award 2019 as that year’s best solution provider. Mr Imam, along with the company’s chief executive, Prince Mojumder, was given the accolade by Gowher Rizvi, the Prime Minister’s international affairs advisor. The company also won Avaya’s Service Provider Partner of the Year award in 2022, and LS Systems’ Emerging Partner of the Year 2021/2022 award, in recognition of the company’s successful relationship with Oracle (LS Systems is an official Oracle distributor).
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, Adnan Imam enjoys activities including HIIT training, visiting the gym, attending concerts, playing the guitar and traveling with his family; recent trips have included the Middle East, the south of France, Italy, Hong Kong and Canada.
